Inflația României face un nou salt și ajunge la 6,6% în septembrie 2026

In September 2026, the annual inflation rate reached 6.6%, reflecting a 0.4 percentage point increase from August. Consumer prices continued to rise, with a monthly increase of 0.77%. The most significant price hikes were observed in services, which rose by 11.12%, while non-food goods increased by 7.06% and food prices by 3.0%. Notable increases included coffee at 13.78% and rents at 39.46%. The average price change over the last 12 months was 9.2%.
