Inflația anuală a coborât la 6,2%. Ilie Bolojan: „Rezultatele eforturilor încep să se vadă”

In August, the annual inflation rate decreased to 6.2% from 8.2% in July, indicating a slower price increase. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan attributes this decline to government measures and emphasizes the need for continued fiscal policies. Despite the decrease, prices have not fallen, with services and non-food goods experiencing significant increases. Fuel prices remain under pressure due to external crises. Bolojan also noted a substantial reduction in the budget deficit, which has decreased by approximately 37% compared to the previous year. He acknowledged that improvements are not yet felt by the population, urging the next government to maintain current economic policies to avoid reverting to previous issues.
