"Inelul de Gaze" de 5 miliarde de dolari care poate schimba Asia Centrală. 3.000 de kilometri de conducte ar putea uni cinci țări
Five Central Asian countries are considering a $5 billion gas network project called the "Gas Ring" to share resources and meet winter demand. The initiative, discussed at a forum in Tashkent, aims to connect Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan through over 3,000 kilometers of pipelines. While financing and agreements are not yet finalized, the project could enhance energy security and facilitate gas trade among these nations. Uzbekistan is also seeking to boost its gas production amid declining output, with new discoveries announced recently. Additionally, strengthening energy ties with Azerbaijan and Europe is being explored to increase exports.
