Industria textilă din România: ce mai produce țara noastră
Romania has been a discreet hub for European fashion for over three decades, producing high-quality garments primarily for foreign brands. Despite its skilled workforce and favorable location, Romanian manufacturers often receive only a fraction of the final product's value, focusing mainly on labor. The lohn system, where foreign clients provide designs and materials, limits local producers' profit margins and market control. While Romania remains relevant in textile production, it faces challenges from rising costs and competition from countries with lower wages. To thrive, Romania must leverage its proximity to European clients, flexibility, and quality, rather than competing solely on price.
