August 2026 saw a significant drop of 12.6% from July, primarily due to reductions in manufacturing and energy supply. However, when adjusted for working days and seasonality, production increased by 1.6% from July. Year-on-year comparisons also showed a slight decrease in production. The extractive industry, in contrast, reported growth, indicating mixed performance across sectors.
