Industria regenerabilelor a cerut ANRE reducerea garanției cerute pentru proiectele de baterii, la 5.000 de euro/MW, de la 30.000 cât este acum - Economica.net

Renewable energy representatives have requested ANRE to reduce the financial guarantee for energy storage projects from €30,000/MW to €5,000/MW. They argue that the current guarantee level hinders investment in storage solutions. The associations RWEA and RPIA emphasize that standalone energy storage systems have distinct technical and functional characteristics compared to new power plants, necessitating a proportional approach to financial guarantees. The uniform application of the €30,000/MW guarantee creates an unequal financial burden on storage projects, potentially affecting their economic viability. With increasing plans for large-scale battery installations, the high guarantee requirement poses challenges for securing necessary funding. Romania aims to reach 4 GW of storage capacity by next year, with an optimal target of 7 GW.
