The sector is thriving, with 234 studios and around 6,000 professionals contributing to a growing ecosystem. Bucharest remains the main hub, housing 46% of studios. The global gaming market also saw a strong recovery, reaching 201.6 billion USD in revenue. Notable Romanian titles include Door Kickers 2 and Darkblade Ascent, while local studios contributed to major international projects. The revenue structure is more diverse, with international companies generating 69.3% of income. Romania boasts about 8.6 million gamers, highlighting the popularity of video games as a form of entertainment.
