The Ministry of Environment has updated the air quality platform and mobile app to display hourly air quality indices, starting October 1, 2026. This change allows for a more accurate reflection of recent pollution levels, particularly for PM₁₀ and PM₂,₅ particles. The app, available for free on Android and iOS, provides real-time data from the National Air Quality Monitoring Network, enabling users to track air quality and receive notifications. The goal is to make checking air quality as routine as checking the weather, with practical recommendations for outdoor activities based on pollution levels.
