This deal is expected to eliminate tariffs on 96% of EU exports to India, generating annual savings of 4 billion euros. The agreement aims to benefit businesses and citizens quickly, with the potential to create 800,000 jobs in the EU. Final approval from the European Parliament is still required before implementation.
