India a lansat cel mai puternic tren pe hidrogen din lume: A parcurs deja 6.000 km și a redus emisiile de carbon cu peste 36.444 kg
India's first hydrogen-powered train, inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi, has already traveled around 6,000 kilometers. The Namo Green Rail, consisting of 10 carriages, can carry 2,600 passengers and operates between Jind and Sonipat at a maximum speed of 75 km/h. This train is notable for its clean energy use, producing only water vapor as a byproduct, and aims to support India's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2030. The project showcases India's engineering capabilities and offers a sustainable transport alternative, especially in areas where electrification is challenging. Ticket prices remain the same as conventional services, ensuring accessibility for passengers.
