The remuneration for IAR Brașov's Board of Directors will increase significantly from 4,720 lei to 20,400 lei per month. This adjustment, announced by interim Minister Irineu Darău, is based on a formula considering the company's size, financial indicators, and the complexity of the mandate. IAR Brașov, a state-owned company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, plays a crucial role in the aerospace and defense industry. The minister emphasized the need for accountability and performance-based remuneration for state company administrators. The new compensation structure aims to enhance management quality and align it with the company's strategic goals, particularly in defense investments and local production.
