Indemnizații de merit pentru Steaua 1986, dar și pentru campioni europeni din handbal, rugby și volei

The Romanian Parliament has approved a law granting merit allowances to all members of the 1986 Steaua football team and other European champions in handball, rugby, and volleyball. The proposal, initiated by AUR and PSD, received 253 votes in favor and amends the existing law on merit allowances. Elisabeta Lipă praised the decision as a significant recognition of historical achievements in Romanian sports. The new law expands eligibility for merit allowances to athletes who contributed to winning prestigious European titles. A commission will be responsible for nominations, including representatives from various cultural and sports institutions.
