Although the Fiscal Council noted budgetary concerns, USR representatives estimate the initiative could involve around 30,000 days of leave nationwide. The funding source is expected to be the Ministry of Labor's budget, but specific figures are not yet available. The initiative aims to alleviate the emotional and logistical burdens faced by patients and their families during complex medical journeys.
