Incident violent în sediul primăriei Redea din Olt

Iulian Braniște, the secretary of Redea commune, claims he was assaulted by Mayor Dan Bălă after refusing to alter local council decisions. Bălă denies the allegations, asserting they are unfounded and that an ongoing criminal investigation will clarify the situation. Tensions escalated after Braniște did not approve a road project due to missing documentation. He reported being falsely marked absent and subsequently called the police, alleging he was physically restrained by Bălă. The mayor is also under investigation for a separate incident involving assault and theft. Local resident Alexander Iordan has previously reported Bălă for public disturbances.
