A serious maritime incident occurred near the Neptun Deep platform in the Black Sea involving the Turkish cargo ship Royal Mammadov, which caught fire after being likely struck by a drone. The ship's captain is injured, and 13 crew members are missing. The Romanian Naval Authority was alerted around 11:00 AM and coordinated rescue efforts, deploying several rescue vessels including SAR APOLLO and SAR ARTEMIS. The Royal Mammadov was transporting grain from the Ukrainian port of Ismail to Ravenna, Italy.
