Incident în apropiere de Sulina: o navă sub pavilion străin, lovită de o dronă

On October 14, a foreign-flagged ship, Yara J, was struck by a drone near Sulina, resulting in a fire. The crew, consisting of Syrians, reported the incident to the Sulina Port Authority. The Romanian Maritime Rescue Agency was called for assistance. The Yara J, a chemical and petroleum transport vessel, was navigating the Black Sea. Meanwhile, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense detected aerial targets in the Black Sea, prompting the deployment of Spanish F-18 aircraft. Alerts were issued for the northeastern Tulcea County, and one aerial target was later destroyed by Ukrainian air defense near Reni, Ukraine.
