The Ministry of Transport has established a procedure for justifying and approving significant closures of concessioned infrastructure. For the ongoing restriction on the A1 Sibiu–Boița, the order allows for a reevaluation request but does not mandate reopening traffic. The order requires administrators to notify the ministry at least 30 days in advance for planned closures, including technical justifications and impact assessments. Existing closures must be reported within 20 working days, but reevaluation does not suspend the closure. The A1 restriction is set from October 5 to December 19 for construction work, with traffic diverted accordingly.
