Approximately 700 schools are unable to accommodate students due to renovations or insufficient space, affecting around 87,000 children. Parents face increased expenses, with a basic supply kit costing around 310 lei, and after-school programs reaching up to 1,750 lei monthly. The government provides social vouchers for disadvantaged families, while education funding is set at 62 billion lei, representing 3.03% of the projected GDP.
