Începe restaurarea Coifului de la Coțofenești. Comisia Naţională a Muzeelor şi Colecţiilor a emis aviz favorabil

The National Commission of Museums and Collections approved the restoration of the Coțofenești helmet, stolen from a Dutch museum. The National Museum of Romanian History will follow a detailed strategy for the restoration process, which includes non-invasive physical-chemical analyses. The first phase involved comprehensive imaging documentation to assess the helmet's condition. Subsequent analyses were conducted in collaboration with experts from various institutions to evaluate the materials and techniques used in the helmet's creation. The helmet and two Dacian bracelets were stolen in January 2025, with the helmet being recovered over a year later, while one bracelet remains missing.
