The eighth edition of the Tezaur program was launched by the Ministry of Finance, allowing Romanians over 18 to invest in state bonds with various maturities and tax-free returns. The bonds can be purchased online or at Treasury units from August 10 to September 4, 2026. Investors can subscribe to multiple bonds and have the option to cancel subscriptions during the subscription period. The funds raised will support the budget deficit and public debt refinancing.
