Prosecutors seek preventive detention for both individuals. Supporters gathered outside the court, chanting messages of encouragement for Georgescu. The investigation was initiated following a complaint from businessman Răzvan Leu, who claims to have lost money due to a fraudulent scheme involving Georgescu.
