Over 750 young cyclists from Europe are participating in the European Mountain Bike Championship in Cheile Grădiștei, Romania, from July 26. The event includes various competitions for youth categories. This championship highlights the growth of cycling in Romania and the country's recognition in European cycling. Romania provides excellent conditions for mountain biking, with increasing interest in the sport. By 2025, the number of licensed mountain bikers in Romania is expected to exceed 1,000, with nearly 100 competitions scheduled this year.
