A fire broke out on a vehicle ferry near Mykonos, prompting a swift response from Greek authorities. The ferry, operated by Blue Star Ferries, had 29 people on board, including 28 crew members and one passenger. The crew initiated fire control measures while the Coast Guard dispatched five vessels and specialized fire-fighting boats to the scene. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported, and the passengers were not evacuated. Images showed significant smoke rising from the ferry during the intervention efforts.
