Incendiul izbucnit la începutul lunii în Parcul Național Domogled nu a fost stins nici până acum

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) reports a second forest fire in the Domogled National Park area, following a previous one last month. The first fire lasted from August 9 to 25, affecting about 37 hectares, and required extensive aerial and ground resources for extinguishing. A second fire was detected on September 2 and continues to burn, impacting approximately 400 hectares. Over 270 firefighters and forestry workers are involved in ongoing efforts, which are complicated by difficult terrain and prolonged drought conditions. Helicopters have conducted numerous water drops to combat the flames, and additional aerial support is planned to assist ground teams in controlling the situation.
