Incendiul de la hala de deșeuri a poluat masiv aerul în Cristian: depășiri mari ale limitelor maxime admise
Residents of Cristian commune are concerned as air pollution levels exceeded legal limits following a fire at a waste sorting station. Measurements from the mobile laboratory of the Sibiu County Environmental Protection Agency indicated high levels of particulate matter and hydrogen sulfide. On October 7, PM10 levels reached 114.21 µg/m³, surpassing the allowed limit of 50 µg/m³. Hydrogen sulfide was also detected above permissible levels multiple times during monitoring. However, other pollutants remained within legal limits, according to authorities.
