Incendiu puternic la un complex gazochimic din Rusia

A fire at a gas chemical complex under construction in Russia's Amur region resulted in one death and over 120 injuries. The deceased was a Chinese worker employed by a contractor. Nineteen individuals are hospitalized, while more than a hundred sustained injuries. The complex, developed by Russian company Sibur and Chinese group Sinopec, is one of the largest in the world for polyethylene and polypropylene production, but has not yet commenced commercial operations. Emergency teams are still working to extinguish the fire and manage remaining industrial gases. Authorities have not disclosed details about the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage.
