A significant vegetation fire broke out at the exit of Brăila towards DN 22 B, prompting emergency intervention from firefighters and traffic restrictions in the area. Firefighters arrived with four fire trucks and a water tanker to combat the flames, which posed a risk of spreading to nearby homes. Traffic was halted from the intersection of Dorobanți Boulevard and Calea Galați to the city exit due to heavy smoke. Drivers heading to Galați were redirected through the Vidin neighborhood. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
