A fire broke out at the Psychiatric Hospital in Ștei, Bihor, leading to the evacuation of 116 individuals. The blaze, caused intentionally by a woman deemed to lack discernment, affected two mattresses and filled the first floor with smoke. Five hospital staff members experienced mild smoke inhalation but did not require hospitalization. Emergency services, including three fire trucks and medical teams, responded promptly, and the fire was extinguished without any casualties. The situation was managed under the Red Intervention Plan, ensuring the safety of all patients and staff.
