A fire broke out at the Ştei Psychiatric Hospital in Bihor, reportedly started intentionally by a patient. Authorities activated the Red Intervention Plan, leading to the evacuation of 116 individuals. Five staff members experienced minor smoke inhalation but declined hospital transport. Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames, which affected the first floor, filling it with smoke. The incident prompted a significant emergency response, including multiple fire and medical units. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, and the Red Plan was later deactivated after the situation was under control.
