The incident occurred around 14:30 on line 4, involving train no. 91108 operated by CFR SA, which was carrying aggregate transport wagons. The contact line was de-energized between Periș and Chitila to protect emergency crews from electrical hazards. Train traffic in this section is temporarily disrupted until the situation is resolved and safety conditions are restored.
