A fire broke out in the kitchen of a restaurant in Iași, originating from the fryers. Firefighters responded with two fire trucks and a medical team. Fortunately, no one was inside the restaurant at the time, and there were no casualties. The flames caused significant smoke and affected the roof, damaging about five square meters near the chimney. The fire was likely caused by heat from cooking equipment, igniting oils and grease. Authorities advise against leaving cooking appliances unattended and recommend regular cleaning of exhaust systems. Water should not be used to extinguish grease fires.
