Incendiile de vegetație au mistuit periferiile orașului Bordeaux. Peste 10.000 de persoane au fost evacuate din calea flăcărilor

Over 20,000 people were evacuated in southwestern France due to a rapidly spreading wildfire that destroyed over 2,000 hectares near Bordeaux. This year, wildfires in Europe have already burned more land than the average of recent decades, exacerbated by three heatwaves. Five hundred firefighters are battling the blaze, which started in a dense pine forest. Most evacuees are tourists from campsites. Fortunately, there have been no civilian casualties reported, although two firefighters died earlier this week near Bordeaux airport. France is facing extreme heat and severe drought, leading to dry vegetation, with over 12,500 wildfires recorded this year.
