Incendii puternice de vegetație în Caraș-Severin

Massive wildfires are affecting several areas in Caraș-Severin County, with firefighters conducting both ground and aerial interventions. Two helicopters from the General Inspectorate of Aviation are assisting in firefighting efforts. One helicopter has completed 36 water drops in the Băile Herculane area to combat a fire in the Domogled National Park. The second helicopter is addressing a rapidly spreading fire in Petroșnița – Prisian, exacerbated by difficult terrain and dry vegetation. Additional firefighting resources have been deployed due to the risk of the fire spreading to inhabited areas. Local authorities and community members are also involved in the response efforts, while residents are advised to avoid areas with heavy smoke and follow the instructions of emergency teams.
