Încălzire pe bază de biomasă în Sălaj: Investiții de 19 milioane de euro

The communes of Rus and Sărmășag in Sălaj County are planning investments of approximately 19 million euros for centralized biomass energy systems. These projects, funded by the Regional North-West Program 2021-2027, aim to provide thermal and electric energy to homes and public buildings. In Rus, the system will serve nearly half of the population, including schools and public offices. Sărmășag's system will benefit 256 households and community facilities. The use of biomass is expected to reduce consumption by 38% and CO2 emissions by over 94%. The projects are in the implementation phase, with local authorities involved in the planning process.
