Încă un oraș din România face pași pentru a renunța la banii cash. Plăți doar cu cardul la Permise

Romania is moving towards a cashless society, with Cluj implementing card-only payments for vehicle registrations and permits starting next month. This shift aims to enhance efficiency and transparency, as 40 million of the 43 million collected this year were online payments. While many institutions across the country are adopting similar measures, only 30% of payments are currently made by card, despite a higher usage rate in urban areas. The Central Bank of Europe advises keeping cash reserves for emergencies, as Romania ranks low in EU bank account ownership.
