Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev officially opened a new Chinese auto parts factory near Plovdiv, marking a significant investment in the Trakia industrial zone. The facility, costing over 32 million euros, is expected to create 100 jobs by year-end and will produce aluminum components for the automotive industry. Radev emphasized the project as a sign of growing foreign investor confidence in Bulgaria and a shift towards a more production-oriented economy. He also announced the launch of another industrial project for medical supplies, valued at 7 million euros, and inspected a major road infrastructure project in the Plovdiv region.
