On August 26, a drone was detected near the Romanian border, prompting alerts in Tulcea County. An IAR-330 PUMA SOCAT helicopter was deployed for monitoring. Earlier that day, another drone was found on Olimp beach and detonated by military experts. Since the start of the Ukraine war, numerous unauthorized airspace incursions and drone incidents have been reported.
