Încă două drone de atac de tip Geran, doborâte de avioane F-16 românești în apropiere de Sulina

On Saturday, two Geran attack drones were shot down by Romanian F-16s after entering national airspace. The Ministry of National Defense reported that radar systems detected the drones approximately 120 kilometers east of Snake Island. F-16s from Borcea Air Base intercepted the targets, with the first drone being downed at 18:01 and the second at 18:05. The Ministry noted that similar incursions had occurred previously, with drones briefly entering Romanian airspace. Additionally, several commercial vessels were attacked by drones in the Black Sea, including in Romanian territorial waters. The Ministry is continuously adapting its procedures to protect national airspace and territorial waters.
