The mayor of Galați, Ionuț Pucheanu, has initiated the modernization of the Danube Promenade, a project worth over 226 million lei, funded by the Regional Program Southeast 2021-2027. The project aims to enhance public monuments, create recreational areas, and improve infrastructure. The execution will take 24 months, with a consortium led by Tancrad SRL responsible for the work. This initiative is expected to transform the relationship between the city and the Danube, making the promenade a modern and attractive space for both locals and visitors.
