Înalta Curtea de Casație și Justiție se pronunță azi în procesul cu Guvernul demis, privind salariile restante ale magistraților
The High Court of Cassation and Justice is set to rule on a case regarding unpaid salary rights for judges, amounting to approximately 5 billion lei. The case is currently in the appeal phase after the Bucharest Court of Appeal ordered the government to pay these arrears. The government has requested the Constitutional Court to assess the legality of the court's decision and has also sought a preliminary ruling from the European Court of Justice. The High Court argues that the unpaid amounts violate judges' property rights and undermine the legitimacy of the judiciary.
