Înalta Curte a amânat cu două săptămâni verdictul în procesul cu Guvernul privind salariile restante ale magistraților

The High Court of Cassation and Justice postponed the verdict in the case against the Government regarding unpaid salaries for magistrates to August 6. The total amount claimed is 5.2 billion lei, equivalent to one billion euros. During the first hearing on July 9, the Government raised a constitutional exception and requested the European Court of Justice to provide a preliminary ruling, which could influence the final decision. The High Court's stance on these requests will be revealed in two weeks.
