A cemetery in Vienna has introduced an outdoor fitness area, promoting both exercise and biodiversity. The initiative includes planting trees and creating habitats for wildlife. While it aims to enhance community engagement with nature, it has faced criticism from conservative parties who believe cemeteries should remain places of reflection. The project, costing around €35,000, was launched by city councilor Ulli Sima.
