A company from Sibiu, CONA, has completed a significant investment in Romanian healthcare by constructing the new Cardiovascular Surgical Center at IUBCVT in Târgu Mureș. The project, which began on April 8, 2025, was finished on schedule after nearly 500 days of continuous work. The facility spans over 19,300 square meters and includes 219 beds and four operating rooms. The total investment exceeds 770 million lei, with substantial funding from European sources. The inauguration was attended by key officials, highlighting the project's importance for the region. Meanwhile, Sibiu's own hospital project remains stalled due to political issues.
