An increasing number of Russian regions have reintroduced fuel rationing due to a severe gasoline and diesel crisis caused by Ukrainian drone attacks on major refineries. The governor of Kaluga announced a system based on vehicle registration numbers and banned fuel sales in portable containers. In Zabaikalsky, a limit of 15 liters per vehicle was set, with fuel reserves expected to last only 20 days. These measures follow significant damage to Russia's refining capacity, with Ukraine claiming to have incapacitated over 45% of it. Additionally, Leningrad authorities have already restricted gasoline sales to 30 liters per vehicle, leading to the closure of many small gas stations.
