În plină criză energetică, Miruță anunță că Metrorex are datorii de peste 11 milioane de lei la electricitate

Radu Miruță, interim minister of Transport, reveals that Metrorex owes over 11 million lei to Hidroelectrica due to unpaid energy bills. This situation arises amid an energy crisis linked to low Danube water levels, affecting the Cernavodă nuclear plant. Although Metrorex is not at immediate risk of disconnection, negotiations for payment restructuring are ongoing. Miruță has also initiated a control check on Metrorex's fund usage, citing inefficiencies. The Cernavodă plant's second reactor was disconnected recently, with authorities attempting to redirect water flow to maintain operations. Hydrologists predict continued low water levels in the Danube, complicating the plant's future operations.
