Salvamont Cluj has completed the renovation of around 60 climbing routes in Peștera Ungurească, enhancing safety and environmental protection. The project, which took two years, involved replacing old mechanical anchors with new stainless steel systems. An event to celebrate the completion is scheduled for October 17-18, 2026, honoring a local climbing pioneer. The renovation aimed to ensure durability and minimize environmental impact while maintaining the climbing experience in this challenging area.
