În ce oraș a fost construit primul stadion din România? Acum e o arenă modernă, cu capacitate de 30.000 locuri • Newsweek România
The first stadium in Romania was built in Cluj 115 years ago and has evolved into Cluj Arena, a modern facility with a capacity of 30,335 seats. Originally inaugurated in 1911, it started as a wooden structure and has undergone several renovations. The stadium has hosted numerous significant matches, including the national team's early games. After the original stadium was demolished in 2008, Cluj Arena was opened in 2011, costing 36 million euros. It is now one of the largest stadiums in Romania, ranking third in capacity, and is classified as a UEFA Elite 5* venue.
