SAPE and Titan Power have signed a financing contract of approximately 289 million lei for the construction of the CET Titan, the first heating plant built from scratch in Bucharest since 1979. This new facility aims to enhance energy security, improve resource efficiency, and reduce environmental impact through modern cogeneration technologies. The project will produce around 400 GWh of electricity and 200 GWh of thermal energy annually, particularly benefiting areas with energy shortages. The estimated completion time is about 14 months, with ongoing preparatory activities and factory acceptance tests for key equipment.
