Bucharest and Ilfov residents face uncomfortable conditions in STV buses due to non-functional air conditioning. The buses, mainly second-hand VDL Ambassador models, were purchased from the Netherlands and lack proper ventilation. Complaints about the heat have surfaced on social media, but little action has been taken. The buses were acquired in 2019 as part of a fleet upgrade, but many still suffer from outdated features.
