A Swiss company is constructing a complex of underground caves in the Brünig massif for wealthy individuals to store valuable items securely. The Brünig Mega Safe project, led by entrepreneur Thomas Gasser, will feature up to 25 caves over 100 meters underground, designed for art, precious metals, cars, and documents. Prices start at around 500,000 Swiss francs, with contracts lasting 99 years. The facility will also offer private meeting spaces and relaxation areas, with security comparable to that of the Swiss National Bank. Excavation begins in January, with availability expected next year, driven by rising interest in secure storage amid geopolitical uncertainties.
